Lisa Cicciarello Andrews, MEd, RD, LD

 

Lisa Cicciarello Andrews has been a Registered Dietitian in Cincinnati since 1990.   She received a Bachelors degree in Nutrition from Youngstown State University and Masters in Nutrition Education at the University of Cincinnati.  She completed her dietetic internship at Good Samaritan Hospital where she received the Sister Romuald Award.  Lisa was certified by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in Adult Weight Management in 2003.

Lisa works as a clinical dietitian at the VA Medical Center and is owner of Sound Bites Nutrition, LLC.  Her nutrition expertise also comes from her community experience at the Cincinnati Nutrition Council and teaching courses for the University of Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky University and Christ Hospital School of Nursing for over 12 years.  She serves as nutrition expert for Shapefit.com, NetWellness.org, 50+fit.com and Dietitiancentral.com and has been quoted in several local and national publications.  In 2002, she received the Ohio Dietetic Association Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year Award.

Lisa works with adults (18 and up) and her interests include medical nutrition therapy for obesity, diabetes, PCOS, nutrition support (enteral and parenteral nutrition),  cancer prevention/treatment, pre and post surgery nutrition support, renal disease, cardiovascular disease, wellness, and gastrointestinal disorders such as celiac disease and IBS.

She enjoys providing nutrition lectures and health education for employers and has consulted for P&G, Ethicon Endosurgery, GE, Scripps Network, the CDC, Vega Americas, the Wellness Community, Siemens and Office Depot.  Lisa serves as a nutrition consultant for the Kroger pharmacy wellness and diabetes management programs where she provides one on one counseling, group classes and grocery store tours.
