Mixed Berry Salad with Mint

June is National Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Month. What better time to stock up on seasonal produce like berries, kiwi, melon, avocado and tomatoes? Seasonal produce not only tastes better, it's also easier on your budget. And, fresh fruits and vegetables are loaded with heart healthy, cancer-fighting nutrients like fiber, vitamin C, potassium and beta-carotene. Visit a local farmer's market or check out your favorite grocery store for best selections.

Ingredients:
4 Tbsp. low fat vanilla or lemon yogurt
2 Tbsp. lime juice (about 1 lime)
2 Tbsp. fresh mint leaves, torn
1 cup cubed cantaloupe
1 cup fresh strawberries, stemmed and quartered
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup fresh raspberries

Preparation:
Whisk together the yogurt and lime juice. Add in the mint leaves. Combine fruit in a bowl. Pour the yogurt and lime juice mixture over the fruit and serve.

Makes 4 (1 cup) servings

Nutrition Information Per Serving: 73 calories, .7 gm fat, 2 gm protein, 1 mg cholesterol, 4 gm fiber, 18 mg sodium
